At every stage of preconstruction and construction through completion and warranty, we work collaboratively to focus on protecting and safeguarding each person. Determining site logistics early on, like on-demand deliveries, helps us make our projects efficient, safe, and secure.
Winter knows the importance of having a safe, healthy, and clean jobsite. Our precautions begin at the very top. Starting with our CEO, Brent Reid and VP of Risk Management, Tim Thomas all the way to our Project Engineers and Field Representatives, making every project as safe as possible is everyone’s responsibility.
Winter’s excellent safety record has been recognized by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). ABC’s Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) recognizes member companies that employ effective safety practices on their jobsites, based on 20 key elements of contractor safety programs such as management commitment, pre-planning for safety on jobsites, safety training, and resources committed to safety.
Winter’s safety department continually refines, updates, and executes an effective safety program to ensure compliance with standards and to reflect the changing demands of field training in the construction industry.

Our Superintendents alongside our Project Management team monitor the project location, traffic patterns and peak times, pedestrian traffic flow, and other considerations, well before we begin construction. We have proven capability to plan every logistical aspect – from job site perimeter, fencing, safety attire and gear, trailer location, deliveries, parking, to crane placement and swing radius, flagmen positions, and more.
